Structure

Elaborate court structure imitating imperial noble hierarchy. Ranks and titles are theatrical but also functional -- they determine cut of prize, voting weight, and access to the Court's intelligence network.

Goals

Acquire leverage over the Remnant Senate and noble families to reclaim lost estates and titles. Fund this through the seizure of luxury convoys, art, and rare tech components. They are thieves with a restoration agenda.

Philosophy

Refinement survives chaos. They believe they represent civilization's best thread -- frayed, but unbroken. Their cruelty is always elegant, which makes it worse.

Limits

The Doge will not target archives, libraries, or cultural repositories. 'Barbarians destroy history. We are not barbarians.' They have, once, actually defended an archive against Rust Tide attack.
