Last seen on a ledge over the burning fuel reserve, with a makeshift bridge and no help.

Red got themselves off the prison level in the confusion and got no further, blocked by the same collapse and the same sheet of fire the crew had to cross.
They called out for help as the crew came through, and the crew crossed past them. On the far side there was an argument about it, and the outcome was a conjured span thrown back across the gap — enough to run on, not enough to be sure of.
Nobody waited to see whether they used it. They had not caught up by the time the shuttle undocked.
